Africa Animal Welfare Conference (AAWC) is an annual conference co-hosted by Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW) in collaboration with United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), African Union InterAfrican Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR) and the Government of the Country on Which the Conference is held, for professionals and practitioners, coming together to discuss issues that cut across animal welfare, wildlife and environmental conservation. Callout for Articles! - The Animal Welfare Magazine Issue No. 17

We would like to invite all interested to contribute articles, illustrations and photographs for the Animal Welfare Magazine - Issue No. 17. This issue’s theme is ‘How Good Animal Welfare Practices Contributes to Mitigating the Climate Crisis’. We would like to receive articles, illustration, and photographs on the following topics:

  • Kindness to Animals: Animal Heroes.
  • The climate crisis and how it has impacted on animals and the African Communities they live with.
  • Animal Agriculture: Curbing Carbon Emissions in Farms.
  • Protecting African Endangered Species, Terrestrial and Marine Animals and their Habitat in Africa.
  • Policy and Advocacy: Laws, Bills, Regulations, Standards and Resolutions on animal welfare and related topics.
  • Sustainability in Business and Methods of Best Welfare Practice Adopted.

Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW) gives writers and photographers an opportunity to have their articles, illustrators and photographs on opinions, interviews, news articles, profiles, and photographs featured in our biannual magazine, The Animal Welfare Magazine.
