De-snaring and Community Anti-Bushmeat Awareness and Sensitization Campaigns
Wildlife numbers have been on the decline by the day due to illegal bushmeat poaching. To intervene on this menace concerted efforts of experts that include Vet Surgeons backed by a team of Journalists pay frequent visits to hotspot poaching sites to remove snares and rescue animal from pain and suffering resulting from snare wounds. ANAW is therefore currently focusing on addressing illegal bushmeat activities whether for commercial or subsistence purposes.
