Meet Nduta Mwangi who comes from a humble background of scale farmers at the foothills of Mount Longonot in Nakuru County, Kenya. She lives with her siblings and her parents who engage in casual jobs outside the homestead to subsidize their small family income. This jovial 16-year-old girl is a day scholar at Longonot Township Secondary School. The second year student would like to become an engineer someday. She has a deep desire to return to her community to serve them in her chosen career.

She is one of the benefeciaries of the Africa Conservation Education Fund (ACEF) for the past 2 years. ACEF is a program by ANAW and ANAW-USA that supports the education of children living in wildlife areas through scholarships and creation of effective learning environments. As we anticipate the new school year starting January 2023, we hope to raise educational support for school children from communities living in or neighbouring wildlife areas. Be a part of the wonderful cause and help keep Nduta in school. If you would like to offer financial support, please donate through this link.
